DANIEL LUEDTKE, MA
I am a clinical psychology extern at Fountainhead Psychology Group, LLC, and a fifth-year doctoral student in the University of Colorado Denver Clinical Health Psychology PhD program. I have worked in college counseling, private practice, and integrated community health settings. I have background primarily working with anxiety, phobias, OCD, depression, stress management, insomnia, health concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, among others.
My approach draws from many different therapeutic styles. I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptive Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and positive psychology. I value compassion, acceptance, curiosity, and collaboration and try to bring these values into each of my sessions. Your history, identity, culture, and experiences combine to make you someone truly unique, and your time in therapy should acknowledge that. Much of our work together will likely involve emphasizing your strengths and building your voice so you can change your relationship with your thoughts and emotions and achieve your goals. What our time together looks like is ultimately up to you. Therapy can be whatever you make of it, whether you hope for something more lighthearted or serious and contemplative. I am happy to work with you to make sure that it feels like a good fit so that I meet your individual needs. Whatever it is you are hoping to achieve in our time together, I am excited to walk with you on this journey.
When not in the office I enjoy spending time with my friends, watching movies, listening to music, and continuing to explore the Denver area (even though I’ve been here for several years at this point). I’d love to hear your recommendations for things I should watch or places I should go, and I’d love to hear what you are passionate about.
I’d love to meet with you soon to see if you think I would be a good fit.
